Under the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), coming into effect on 25th May 2018, we are obliged to obtain and be able to prove ‘freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous’ consent in order to collect and process personal data. We are taking action towards compliance, and we believe that the GDPR is an opportunity for us to send better, more relevant communications to our community.
What data is collected by INTIX?
INTIX collects your first name, last name, job title, email address and phone numbers.
What is the purpose of this Data Collection?
Your data will be used for sending email updates, including our frequent news such as invitations to events, company announcements, press releases, and product releases. Under GDPR, as a subscriber to our email updates you are required to re-permit INTIX to send email updates to you.
How is this Data processed?
INTIX uses the online email marketing system SendinBlue, which is fully compliant with the GDPR. INTIX also uses Salesforce which is also fully compliant with the GDPR.
How long will your Data be stored by INTIX?
In accordance with GDPR, we will reconfirm all data every 2 years. Until this time your personal data will only be kept as a confirmation of consent and stored on Sendinblue servers. We will also store some data on Salesforce.
