INTIX CEO joins Belgian Economic Mission to Morocco presided by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, Representative to His Majesty the King

In November 2018, Marc Braet, Founder and CEO of INTIX joined the Belgian Economic Mission to Morocco.

The Mission took place between 25 and 30 November and was organised by the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency. The Mission was presided by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, Representative of His Majesty the King and gathered Belgian officials including HR Didier Reynders, Federal Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs as well as HE Pieter De Crem, Federal Secretary of State for Foreign Trade.

A business delegation of 400+ businessmen and women joined the Mission, representing sectors such as Construction and Infrastructure, Consultancy, Energy, Environment & Cleantech, ICT & Telecom and Education.

On Wednesday 28 November, the CEOs of INTIX and Maroclear signed a second contract for use of INTIX transaction tracking technology within the CSD IT infrastructure of Maroclear. As pictured below, Marc Braet, founder and CEO of INTIX signed the contract with Fathia Bennis, CEO of Maroclear.

Ms. Fathïa Bennis, Chairperson and CEO of MAROCLEAR, Central Securities Depository of Morocco, said:” MAROCLEAR as market infrastructure with systemic risk is always looking for excellence in its operational processes, the innovative solution of Intix will allow us through these new modules to have an instant monitoring of messages flows with our business partners. Intix will improve the control mechanism for the operational risk related to messaging flows and definitely bring up the confidence and satisfaction of our business partners”.

Marc Braet, Founder and CEO of INTIX said: “I am delighted of our extended collaboration with Maroclear which has always demonstrated its technology leadership.
